My first HYROX competition is officially in the books, and what a day it was. 🏋️‍♂️🔥

I quickly realised HYROX isn’t just about competing with others. It’s about competing with yourself. About finding out what you’re actually capable of when the legs are on fire, the lungs are screaming, and the little voice in your head is saying “surely we could just lie down instead?” (Tempting, but no).

I couldn’t have asked for better support along the way. Massive thanks to everyone from @warehouse.mt and @thejunglebox_malta not just for being there on the day in Rome, but for pushing me, encouraging me, and occasionally laughing at my pain in the lead up. You lot made a huge difference.

The whole experience was incredible, and honestly, it’s only lit the fire even more. I’m already hungry for the next one (and no, not just because I burned through my bodyweight in carbs that day).

Here’s to more races, more growth, and more proving ourselves wrong about our limits
