🚨💔 A HORRIFYING INCIDENT ON HIGHWAY 15 IN BROSSARD LEAVES A MAN DEAD!

A man in his 30s has tragically lost his life after a wheel detached from a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction and struck the van he was riding in on Monday evening.

The shocking incident happened around 5:20 p.m. on Highway 15 North, between Boulevard Matte and Rue Riviera in Brossard.

According to the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), the wheel came loose from a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction and was launched toward the van, smashing through its windshield and fatally striking the passenger.

The impact caused extensive damage to the vehicle, leaving its windshield completely shattered.

The driver of the van was transported to hospital. His condition was not immediately known.

🔎 WHAT CAUSED THE WHEEL TO DETACH?

Police are investigating how the wheel came loose. Authorities had not determined whether it was caused by improperly secured wheel nuts or another factor.

Questions have also been raised about the dangerous social media trend known as the “lug nut challenge,” which involves tampering with vehicle wheel nuts. However, there is no confirmed connection between this incident and the challenge.

💔 A man lost his life in a matter of seconds while simply travelling on the highway.

Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones during this heartbreaking time.

What are your thoughts on this devastating incident?

The house was very quiet and the fog, we are in November now, pressed against the windows like an excluded ghost.

🍂 In November, Fog and golden leaves compliment each other like ~

☕️a warm mug of tea and a cold morning.
🧦Wool socks and chilly toes.
📖Firelight and a good book.
🧤A lost mitten and a garden fence.
🕯️Early darkness and a lit candle.

Can add any more to the list?

Here are 11 favourite moments from the 11th month, with a heavy emphasis on fog and golden leaves. I’ve included shots from a couple of years ago when it snowed in mid November ~ I think that snow and autumn leaves are one of the most beautiful combinations of them all!
