1992, Christer Majbäck stood on the podium in Albertville with an Olympic bronze medal. His career continued, but this was when his thoughts turned toward the future – and the seed of SKIGO was planted.

Skiing was still his life, but his passion for wax and equipment kept growing. Around 1995, SKIGO was born. Evenings and weekends were spent in the factory testing and experimenting, and soon he was working with chemists. Passion and science drove the development forward.
