My first encounter with lava on Etna – an adventure I’ll definitely repeat! 🌋💛

Walking along the old lava rivers, seeing the Barbagallo craters, and observing the last lava flow was a truly unique experience. I have never felt so light and free, like a little bird! 🕊️
Walking on volcanic rocks and sand, feeling the heat near the lava river, sensing the energy of the volcano – everything was indescribably amazing. My heart raced with excitement when I saw the lava channel and felt its warmth, and entering the lava cave, where I saw the lava through a small hole, I almost cried from excitement – thankfully with the steady hand of our guide Fabrizio, I descended into the cave unscathed, even though all the positive emotions in the world were washing over me.
@fabrizio_zuccarello has an incredible sense of humor and truly lives with Etna, conveying the full magic of the volcano. I'm so grateful for his personal attention and perfect organization. During these 5 hours of trekking, I felt no fatigue, only joy, freedom, and lightness.
