💚💚 💚🎶🐎 🐑 🏹 Girls can do hard things!!! Charlotte and her Girl Scout Troop spent the weekend at the legendary @rawhide_ranch_ learning about animal care, becoming more independent, and strengthening their bonds of friendship. 🚙 We departed Friday, after school, and headed down South towards Bonsall, CA. Roadtrip!!! The car was packed full of sleeping bags, too many snacks, and of course pink cowboy hats for everyone! 🤠 The girls (and us chaperones) stepped outside of our comfort zones with close sleeping quarters, twin bunk beds, shared bathrooms, cold showers, early wake-up calls, and farm chores right after breakfast. The girls were champs and tackled every new challenge and adventure. While they loved horse back riding, vaulting, archery, and leather crafts, they all agreed cleaning the horse stalls was their least favorite activity. They encouraged each other to overcome fears (some girls were scared to ride a horse but ended up loving it), worked as a team to muck the stalls, and even set aside their differences to come together and put on a skit for the rest of the campers.
