CSU System

Kenan Thomas was going nowhere fast when he was expelled from middle school. But Kenan transformed from an at-risk student into the salutatorian of his Fort Collins high school – then became a promising first-generation student at @coloradostateuniversity. Today, he’s pursuing a degree in both political science and history at CSU, and inspiring others to see education as a path to transformation.

“I’m here because I want to make a difference. If I can empower even one student, that’s enough to make an impact in the world. I know how much one person can make a difference, and I want to make a difference for other students.”
