I get this strange sense when I read things issued by the Trump Whitehouse. It's a bit lkke reading one of those kidnap notes where they use the letters out of a magazine - except it doesn't *look* like that, it *feels* like that. For lack of a better way of putting it there's a certain "mental kerning" for most public communications whether from the right or left that is implicit and it's simply not there for Trump stuff. It's not even like they're deliberately doing it - they just plain have zero cognizance of the grammar of sanity that even the first Trump administration had a grasp of.
