I met downtown residents John Burley and Rachel Simpson, who have made their home on East 4th Street for the past three and a half years. Rachel works at Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, and in true Cleveland fashion, we discovered we know some of the same great people. John works in accounting for a local marketing firm.

As much as I enjoyed talking with these kind and thoughtful Clevelanders, I couldn’t help but be drawn to their 3.5-year-old basset hound, June. She wasn’t much for posing in photos, but she was a joy to pet and meet. June is yet another reminder that downtown is full of not just good people, but great dogs too.
