Improv: the comedy after tragedy This is my attempt to compose words to acknowledge the profound impact improv has had in my life. With this attempt to utilize the English language to resemble my deep appreciation for improv, I want to display vulnerability and surrender. Until now, was Tuesday night my weekly night to go be silly and have fun? Absolutely! With my focus shifting to being a Pilates trainee, I am sadly leaving the comedy world for a bit. Upon my return, I'm going to be blessed with silliness once again! 🤪 That said, comedy is always with me! Strangely, it has informed my process as a choreographer in creating new works. My classmates and friends you see in these pictures filled my Tuesday nights with so much joy! Y'all were lovely! I'm sure the improvisers I'll take class with in the future will be too! Am I going through something really difficult? Affirmative. I'm still figuring out my next steps in life and I've learned to be extra goofy along the way! Cheers! 🥳 @kickstandcomedy 🙏🏻
