Hi!👋 It’s been awhile since I’ve introduced myself! I’m Jamie, Founder of Aikenka Matcha.

Aikenka Matcha was born from my love of a few things.

Tea — as both a philosophy and a way of living
Presence- inspired by the outdoors
Connection-a desire to feel a closeness with the food I eat and drink

After discovering I have roots in Kyushu, Japan, my connection to my matcha ritual deepened.

Matcha became my daily practice in stillness & care — a quiet ritual that honours the land, community, and the meeting of two cultures.

This spirit became the heart of Aikenka.

We’ve spent time with nearly all of our farm partners, building relationships rooted in trust and shared values — the kind that have carried us through the wild matcha boom of the past year.

We source small-batch, organic matcha from growers who care deeply for their soil, their community, and their craft.

Through Aikenka, I hope to bring these philosophies to life here — bridging cultures through mindful ritual, organic farming, and a deep respect for the earth that sustains us-🍃 for those who seek calm, connection, and beauty in the everyday.
