I hold a patent for a full-shield goggle system with a wide range of applications — from snow sports and construction to medical use. But the version I’m most excited about is the military model: a smart goggle that hunts with you. I actually came up with this concept about 20 years ago, and after years of development, the patent was officially granted in 2018. Now, as I see many defense companies working on similar technology, I’m hopeful they’ll reach out to collaborate rather than just replicate my idea. As an inventor, this is probably my proudest creation to date.
