Finally got a moment to post a thank you to everyone that helped me out with the launch of my new book! It was a crazy run but everyone was so warm and welcoming. Massive thank you to all the people that came to the conversation nights. To the people that waited for signatures and photos thank you for your patience. Huge thank you to @nic.jeffery @turiapitt @thomasvictorcarroll and @vaughandeadly for hosting the nights and holding space when stories got emotional. Thanks to Jade and K-L from @simonandschuster for all your help. To @lukebenedictus and @vaughandeadly thank you for bringing my story to life. Couldn’t have done it without both. @ronnieblakey_ thank you for organising, proof reading and guiding me through this process. Also a massive thank you to Luke who sat through me stumbling reading the book for the Audio Book. Lastly to the people have read or listened to the book thank you. To the people that have forwarded on messages I appreciate them. I am reading them so they aren’t going unnoticed. Cheers Mick
Four years ago today, happiest day of my life
Shoutout to the best brother in the world! ❤️ Not only did Biggie help Elvis take his Halloween costume to the next level with a homemade Siren Head headpiece, but he made himself a BURJ KHALIFA costume to go trick-or-treating alongside him! 😂 Biggie has done it again!!! As a single mom, I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for the family that shows up for us, especially when work takes me away. Before I left, I told Elvis something I really wanted him to understand. I said, “While I’m gone, you GET to spend time with the people who raised your mama. And if you love me as much as you say you do, soak up every minute with your grandparents, because they’re the ones who taught me how to love you.” I wanted him to see this time not as something he’s missing with me, but as something beautiful he’s gaining with them. Because the older I get, the more I realize that family isn’t just about the people who love us. It’s about the love that gets passed down from one generation to the next. And what a gift it is to watch my son be loved by the very people who taught me what love looks like. ❤️ Family is everything. Always has been. Always will be. If you’re lucky enough to have people who show up for you and your children, give them a little extra love today. ❤️ #family #besties #love

You can hide your pain from the world. You can pretend you’re fine. You can even convince yourself. BUT there is one person you can never truly lie to. The one staring back at you. 💔 - artist: @massacrov X @dave.vero.ink - #mentalhealthquotes #neversurrender #movember #menhealthcare #clearmind
