It was so fun to work with @niceaunties for show at @lorealgroupe historical headquarters back in June.
Presented photos and videos mostly from her SPA MENU and UNDER THE SKIN series. @valteradamcasotto and @martina_sandona.art stepped up to create an INSANE hyperrealistic sculpture from her SPRING SKIN series.
Niceaunties’ vision is truly unique : sincere, deep and joyful at the same time. It was a pleasure to collab and imagine a physical artwork outside of the screen with you all. Merci mille fois for the trust.

//Niceaunties reimagines longevity as an act of cultural defiance and transormative sensibility. In these surreal and satirical portraits, the aging female body becomes a site of indulgence, mutation, and joy. Wrapped in sushi, having a soak in a soup bowl, dancing in defiant couture… these artworks are invitations, if not orders, to live out your best life. Far from depicting decline, these figures radiate agency, humor, and irreverence. They carry the weight of memory while playfully reinventing themselves. By fusing the domestic with the surreal, and the cosmetic with the mythological, Niceaunties prompts us to channel our inner aunties.//
