American painter Robert Henry De Niro Sr. is pictured with his young son, Robert De Niro, in 1946. Born in 1922, De Niro Sr. was a respected artist known for his expressive paintings and distinctive use of colour. His son would grow up to become one of Hollywood’s greatest actors, starring in classics such as Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and Goodfellas, winning two Academy Awards. Despite their different careers, Robert remained proud of his father’s artistic achievements. In 2014, he released a documentary celebrating his father’s life and legacy, helping introduce his remarkable artwork to a new generation. 🎨❤️
What if we all said we’re done with wigs? How nice would it be to get rid of this major expense in our already expensive lives? Feeling peer pressure and wanting to fit in is very real, so what if we all slowly started leaving the wigs at home and putting on beautiful scarves. We can start a trend, a movement! It’s so hard to be the one to take the first step and @byabbystock is doing #nosheitalnovember and really inspired me to wear my scarf out today instead of my wig. She’s amazing, but I personally don’t know if I can commit to a whole month, but what about starting small with just one day a week? What about #nowigwednesdays ?I’ll be honest, I’m nervous to commit. But I’d love to hear your thoughts! If we make a movement and we all do this together, would you be willing to join? Just one day a week to start, and then we can work our way up ❤️ #wigs #jewishwomen haircovering
