Family members, NOMINATE your sure person in the comment section, tell me why they’re your SURE person. Let’s make 2025 extra special for them with a sure gift 💃🏽

This year reminded me that having a SURE person by your side is a blessing you can’t take for granted.

I’ve partnered with @suregiftsng to celebrate the amazing people who lift us up and love us loudly (and quietly).

Remember: you must be following @suregiftsng for your entry to count.

I nominate Nneoma my sure person because she has been my backbone, my strength, and my answered prayer especially as a mum of twins. This journey hasn’t been easy, and there were moments I felt completely overwhelmed, exhausted, and unsure of how I would cope. In those moments, she didn’t just say “I’m here,” she proved it. This year, 2025, she showed up for me in the most selfless and unforgettable way. When I was stretched thin emotionally, physically, and financially, she stepped in without being asked. She checked on me constantly, helped me with the twins, and made sure I wasn’t carrying the burden alone. There were days I felt like giving up, but her words, her presence, and her actions kept me going. She understood my struggles as a mother and never made me feel weak for needing help. On days I couldn’t even find the strength to smile, she reminded me that I was doing my best and that my children needed me strong. Sometimes it was her listening ear, sometimes it was her prayers, and other times it was her practical support that made all the difference. She has been dependable in every sense of the word consistent, loyal, and genuinely caring. Even when she had her own challenges, she still chose to show up for me and my children. That kind of love is rare, and I don’t take it for granted. She is my sure person because she has been there for me when it mattered most. Her winning this would not just be a gift; it would be a small way of honoring someone who carried me through one of the hardest period of my 2025 journal. She truly deserves it. @vibe_with_nneoma

Honestly this year has filled with struggles and challenges here and there. But apart from God,the only person that keeps me going is my wonderful husband. He has been my rock and back. Even in the midst of nothing,he still strife and struggle to see that I and our four kids eat. I'm nominating him for his love, kindness and caring nature. He's supportive and a good Father to us. .. He sacrificed alot for us to feed. He's my SUREST SURE PERSON. @suregiftsng @tomike_a please kindly show him love❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I nominate my mum @favouritechristy8 .My mom is my hero, my mentor and my prayer warrior. My mum is my sure person , one memorable thing my mum showed up for me was when I was in jss2 and the principal announced on the assembly ground that whoever doesn't pay their school fees, wouldn't be allowed to write their exams, on the first day of the exam, they went from class to class to fish out the debtors. I was so scared and wanted to pee on my pants because I knew my fees hadn't been paid cause my father was never present and my mom struggled to take care of myself and siblings single handedly and it wasn't easy on her. To my greatest surprise my name was not called on the list are that got me super excited, when I got home, I noticed that our television was no longer there, I asked my mum and she said she took it for repair, after much persuasion she finally opened up that it was sold to pay my fees. I was touched and promised to study hard and make her a proud mother. Thanks mum for all the sacrifices, you're irreplaceable... please show her some love, she deserves ❤️ @suregiftsng @tomike_a

There was a time I was so sick this year that even lifting my head felt like a battle 😫. My strength failed me, my body gave up, and fear quietly sat beside my bed. But in that moment, my friend @saint_steve12 didn’t disappear. She showed up. When I couldn’t cook, she brought food. When I couldn’t talk, she still sat with me. When I felt alone, she reminded me without words that I wasn’t. She checked on me morning and night, sacrificed her time, her comfort, and even her rest just to make sure I was okay. Not because she had to but because she cared. That season taught me something powerful: True friendship isn’t loud. It’s present. It’s the hand that holds yours when you’re too weak to hold on to yourself. I may forget many things in life, but I will never forget how my friend came through for me when I was at my lowest. That kind of love stays forever 🤍 she is indeed my sure person

Thank you so much @suregiftsng for this opportunity and compliment of the season. I nominate my elder sister, surest person @chidinma.obasi.756 When I look back at the day I put to bed, I realize God didn’t just bless me with a child, he reminded me that angels still live in human form. And mine came as my elder sister. ❤️ She left her work. She left her husband. She left her comfort. Just to show up for me and my newborn when I needed her the most. She was there for every cry, every sleepless night, every moment my strength failed me. She carried my worries like they were hers. She held my baby like her own. She held me like I was still the little sister she promised to always protect. Some people say “blood is thicker than water" but I say "love is thicker than everything". And the way she loved me in those moments is something I will never forget in my lifetime. If I stand strong today as a new mother, it’s because she stood beside me when I could barely stand at all. If my baby is thriving today, it’s because she poured her whole heart into helping us. To the woman who became my strength when I had none. My surest person. My sister. My gift from God. Thank you, I heart ❤️ you to the moon and back.

Thank you very much @suregiftsng and @tomike_a for the opportunity given. I nominate this my surest hardworking, selfless, caring, best friend @shollycutie a single mum ❤️. I just want to take a moment to celebrate you. You’ve carried weights that many will never understand, yet you rise every single day with strength, grace, and a heart that refuses to give up. You’ve walked through storms, dried your own tears, and still managed to pour love, laughter, and warmth into your home. That is not ordinary, that is extraordinary. You’ve been both soft and strong, both mother and provider, both comfort and courage. Even in the moments you felt tired or unseen, you still showed up. And that is why you deserve every bit of rest, joy, and tenderness that life can give. You deserve a treat, a moment to breathe, to be cared for, to feel the same love you give so freely. I hope you take this moment for yourself, not because you’re asking for it, but because you’ve earned it a hundred times over. You are a reminder of how powerful a woman’s love and resilience can be. I see you, I honour you, and I celebrate the incredible mother you are. You truly deserve the best my sure friend. 💛

Some people call it luck. Some call it grace. But me? I call it my mum. Growing up, whenever life shook me, she was the one steady place I could run to. When I failed, she didn’t remind me of my mistakes—she reminded me of my strength. When the world felt too loud, she was the calm in my storm. There were days I didn’t even have the words for what I was feeling, but somehow, she understood before I spoke. She prayed for me, believed for me, and fought for me in ways I’m only now beginning to understand. Life has taken me through many roads, but one thing has never changed— my mum is my surest person. My safe place. @mrs__chukwumara
