28.11.2025: New Wagnerites - a music theater by @damian_ibn_salem and @jimigorkallenberg.
With music by Mauricio Kagel, Georges Aperghis, Damian Ibn Salem, some improvisations and a long lasting E-flat major chord that might have resembled the opening of Rheingold…
Texts by Wagner himself, as he was still thinking radically about art and hanging out with anarchists (before the other muddy stuff that everybody knows about..)
Susanne Stock, accordion
Georg Wettin, clarinet
Damian Ibn Salem, electronics
Daniel Noël Fleischmann, actor
Jim Igor Kallenberg, dramaturgy
Me, voice 🙃
Performed at Alte Nikolaischule in Leipzig.
