“My bones would tell you that I want to fly” - CSA survivor

We’re incredibly proud to share this vibrant and deeply moving short film by Viv Gordon Company, commissioned by the wonderful Visible Project Leeds.

Created in collaboration with their CSA Survivor Leadership Reference Group, the film tells the truth of what it means to survive child sexual abuse - reflecting both the pain and extraordinary creativity.

Beginning with a Finding The Words course and followed by two days of filming with Camilla Adams, Viv and the group co-wrote long-form poems and co-created this stunning film which weaves poetry, imagery and landmarks in Leeds.

Our long-term collaborator and sister punk band member Quinta created the film’s soundtrack 🎶

The film premieres today at 12.30pm in Leeds, and Viv will be there in person to celebrate this bold and beautiful collaboration!
