This Thanksgiving Service was my public “Thank You” to God for trusting me with this assignment and my thank you to my incredible borough for allowing me to serve with my whole heart.
I was humbled to be surrounded by Mayors from across London, MPs, High Commission representatives, the Deputy Lieutenant representing His Majesty the King, councillors, faith leaders, my beloved TMS Church family, and so many residents and friends who filled the room with love and unity.
To everyone who attended, prayed, supported, and celebrated with me, thank you.
To everyone who gave sacrificially to support my charities thank you.
This journey is bigger than me.
It is about shining a light in my borough and lifting others as I climb.
May we continue to serve boldly, give generously, and lead with compassion.
God bless you all and God bless the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham🤍
