This, and the internet was never invented. 📱 I’ve often wondered whether life before the internet was better. Simpler, certainly. There seemed to be less noise in our lives, fewer distractions, and perhaps a little more peace in our minds. We weren’t constantly bombarded with information and opinions, chasing cheap dopamine hits with mind numbing scrolling. We had more time to ourselves, more time for one another, and perhaps a greater appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. 💻 The internet has undoubtedly given us extraordinary things, but I can’t help wondering what we’ve lost along the way. We spend so much of our lives staring at screens, often at the expense of the people around us. We have become hermits, preferring to binge on Netflix than to go out and laugh over a drink with friends and strangers. There’s irony in the fact that, in a world that’s never been more connected, we somehow seem to have become more disconnected from one another. Perhaps progress has given us a great deal, but sometimes I wonder whether a quieter, slower, more human way of living might have been worth holding on to. What do you think? ♥️ My Nara Bronze Range Rover L322 was from @harryalexanderclassics and my beautiful car mascot was from @louis.lejeune.ltd (as was Her Majesty’s) 🐕 👑 #countrylife #pub #countryliving #internet #www

President Trump congratulated Democrats on their major midterm victories in a phone call with CBS News, saying he looks forward to working with them. Trump also blamed Republican losses on his absence from the ballot, arguing that his supporters would have turned out if he were running.
My new favorite contact 🤍 @tabdotbot is a personal assistant you can text right in iMessages, for everything from ordering lunch to booking appointments and keeping track of your schedule. Because having a full day doesn’t mean you have to do everything yourself. Sometimes you just need to send a text ✨ #TabPartner #personalassistent #lifehack
