*Update* It is with immense sadness to inform you all that Gene passed away on 12/1/25 from complications of a head injury from falling off of a ladder on the weekend after Thanksgiving. I made this video well before Gene passed. If you are just discovering this video now, he was more than just another old guy on a bike. He was an inspiration and an icon in the community. I tried my best to get his story out there and was looking forward to doing more with him next year and getting his name out there. He knows ball. 79 and was ripping up the track. Racing for 63 years and cofounded @omrra.pdx that lead to @wmrra_racing . And say what you want about his body position, he’s been riding fast on analog bikes like the gp500’s before most of us were even an idea on this earth. Face it we are spoiled with the new bike tech popping wheelies on computers acting like we are actually doin somethin. @eugenewbrown you will always be loved and remembered. Ride in Paradise ❤️
