Lord God, as the election approaches, we seek to better understand the issues and concerns that confront our city/state/country, and how the Gospel compels us to respond as faithful citizens in our community. We ask for eyes that are free from blindness so that we might see each other as brothers and sisters, one and equal in dignity, especially those who are victims of abuse and violence, deceit and poverty. We ask for ears that will hear the cries of children unborn and those abandoned, Men and women oppressed because of race or creed, religion or gender. We ask for minds and hearts that are open to hearing the voice of leaders who will bring us closer to your Kingdom. We pray for discernment so that we may choose leaders who hear your Word, live your love, and keep in the ways of your truth as they follow in the steps of Jesus and his Apostles and guide us to your Kingdom of justice and peace. We ask this in the name of your Son Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Thank you to everyone who tuned in to watch Million Pound Shot tonight. I know it was a bit of a shock at first, but this is a vital subject and that’s exactly why I wanted to do it. A huge thanks to the incredible experts and gambling harm charities who helped shape the show, and to Patrick and Charlotte for so bravely sharing their stories. I hope everyone who watched is feeling okay, and has come away knowing a bit more about the techniques of the gambling industry. If you’ve been affected by anything in the programme, support is out there such as the wonderful Gambling Harm UK and Gambling with Lives can help.
I fear I’ve become that person who finds something she loves and proceeds to buy it in every colour But hear me out... As a stylist, I love paying attention to the little details, even when it comes to something as simple as a T-shirt. The fabric, the fit, the neckline, how it sits and feels on the body. It all makes a difference. I’ve had my chocolate brown and oat tees for years and they’ve certainly earned their place in my wardrobe. So naturally, I thought we’d explore a few more colours. Purely for educational purposes, of course. And I think that’s something worth remembering when it comes to personal style. Once you start recognising the details you genuinely enjoy wearing, it becomes so much easier to know what to look for next time. If you’d like to take a closer look at any of the featured tees, Comment ‘LINK’ below and i’ll send them your way. https://liketk.it/6rhMR Some of the tees, i’ve purchased myself and some provided for demonstration @commonry necklace @gimmestore__ (Emelia10)
