Shame on every “GLATT KOSHER” reasturant hosting Halloween parties in our community tonight! GLATT KOSHER RESTAURANTS SHOULD NOT BE HOSTING HALLOWEEN PARTIES! It is deeply disappointing to see Glatt Kosher restaurants, establishments that proudly serve the Jewish community and uphold the standards of Kashrut, promoting and hosting Halloween celebrations. Being Glatt Kosher should mean more than just the food you serve. It should also reflect the Jewish values you represent. Halloween is not a Jewish holiday, and there is no reason for Jewish establishments to encourage or normalize its celebration within our community. Kosher food does not automatically make every event appropriate for a Jewish establishment.

Tour update. To be clear before anyone has a go, I’m not having a moan, I’m very lucky to be doing what I’m doing but I’m very, very tired. Last night before the show I was hot and dizzy and felt sick and my brain fog was off the charts. I talk about the peri menopause in the show for laughs but it’s not the easiest when you’re having flushes and anxiety just before going on stage. I was sweating buckets in the dressing room and thought I was going to faint before a swift talking to (by myself) brought me round. One more show then home to recover for three days. And again, before you suggest anything, I exercise, take HRT and supplements, in fact there’s not a thing I don’t do to try to make this special time better. Sometimes it just happens. It’s been happening for a few days and performing has been tough. But the shows have been a delight. Have a lovely Sunday. I’ll be sweating somewhere. Thank goodness for Tipping Point at one in the morning. Edit for clarification. I’m in a nice hotel. My team look after me. Sometimes hotels don’t have room service late at night or they don’t have food I can eat (I’m not great with a cheese toastie). My tour manager is an angel.
