✨I swear I walked right into Hogwarts…. But nope it’s Boston College!

📍Boston College’s Bapst Library is one of the Boston area’s best hidden gems. And it’s open to the public! (But please be respectful of fellow students and patrons 🤫)

Often nicknamed “the Hogwarts library,” it features Gothic stonework, stained glass, and a stunning vaulted reading room called Gargan Hall. Built in 1925, it served as the main library for decades and is still a favorite study space. If you’re exploring Boston’s literary or academic spots, add this to your list.

And after you tour Bapst Library, you can walk across the green space to Gasson Hall to see if they are hosting any public lectures/events for more magic.✨ (check their website for events open to the public)

🚃 How to get there!?
Located in the Chestnut Hill neighborhood (NW corner of Boston), you can easily access the campus with the Green Line (B) but there is also an inexpensive parking garage at 140 Commonwealth Ave.

📚Have you been here yet?
