Looking forward to joining local creative thinkers from the Equinox community at "Be my guest" on November 22.
Grateful to @mapseattle at @equinoxstudiosseattle, for creating a space for us to counter the government push back on free expression and to be a part of #FallOfFreedom, a nationwide wave of shows, performances and creative expression.
Target 4, Mixed media on duralar
Created in 2016, this work is about the erasure of history, culture and place. It holds new meaning for me today....
@falloffreedom is an urgent call to the arts community to unite in defiance of authoritarian forces sweeping the nation. Our Democracy is under attack. Threats to free expression are rising. Dissent is being criminalized. Institutions and media have been recast as mouthpieces of propaganda.
