I’m a 41-year-old laid-back, cool guy looking to get into the DIY boat-building community. I’m currently driving an Ioniq 5, so I’m realistically looking for something in the 14–18 foot range. I’m based in the Long Beach/Los Angeles area and would really love to connect with people who are passionate about building, restoring, and learning about boats. I’m a complete beginner, but I’m genuinely eager to learn everything I can about DIY boat building, with the goal of eventually building my own skiff or medium-sized boat.
