this photo was from two weeks ago, but honestly i haven’t had any energy to take the dogs out anywhere to train. my appointments have been back to back recently, and im too exhausted to do anything. i like to keep this account as transparent as possible, and truthfully, neither of the dogs have had a training session in about two weeks. thankfully, i have amazing dogs who can be fulfilled in other ways, and i’ll forever be grateful for that. a lot of our outings have just been to hospitals and appointments with okie, harlow hasn’t been out in a while. it worked out since she got spayed on the 11th, so she’s been resting, but i still feel terrible for neglecting their training.

i know they don’t care, but with my health rapidly declining, i used to be a much better dog owner. don’t get me wrong, my dogs are healthy, happy, and fulfilled, but i used to go outside with okie daily for playing and a training session, no matter the weather. i hand fed most meals for training, he got regular exercise, regular walks in the woods for sniffing, but now all im doing is the bare minimum.
