First season in the books for Screamin’ Yello Racing. My dad, Paul, was on the original Screamin’ Yello team back in the 90s and after taking 18 years off, he came back to race with his son, Alex, and now his daughter, Payton.
This year was our first season together in WERA Southeast and we wanted to share some of the highlights. Payton wrapped up her rookie year in the Grom class and even beat Alex and Paul in the final race of the season at Barber Motorsports. Alex closed out his second season as the C Superstock Expert Southeast Champion, Caleb put down 3 podiums in C Novice, and Paul finished the year with a win and multiple podiums in Senior Superbike Expert.
And yes, we also had a failed attempt for our first bodywork color. It looked like honey mustard. You’ll see it in the last pic.
The season may be over, but we’re just getting started.
