Life moves fast. One minute, November’s wrapping up, and the next, you’re making New Year’s resolutions.

But what if we stopped putting all the pressure on January 1st and started making small, meaningful changes right now?⁣
⁣
Look, I get it. We’ve all got a million and one things going on. Maybe you’re stuck in a job that leaves you feeling depleted, you’re trying to make a certain relationship work, or you’re putting off something you’ve wanted to do for years because life keeps getting in the way.

On top of that, your phone never stops buzzing, there are always more emails to get back to, and somehow you’ve always got just one more episode to go on Netflix.

All those little distractions add up. It might seem like just 30 minutes scrolling on your phone, but it’s not only the time you lose, it’s how often your attention gets pulled away, how much energy it takes to keep switching between things, and how you can reach the end of the day wondering where all your time went.

Starting today, try something different. It can be as simple as putting your phone in another room while you work on that project you’ve been putting off, having that slightly uncomfortable but necessary conversation instead of letting it simmer, or just taking 10 minutes in the morning to sit with your coffee and actually taste it, rather than immediately diving into emails.⁣

This is about small, intentional choices that compound over time. Because if you think about it, two months is actually a pretty decent chunk of time when you use it well.

The best time to start anything isn’t January 1st, but right now, exactly where you are, with what you have.⁣ That way, there’s no pressure to transform your entire life overnight. Just one small choice at a time, one day at a time, toward the kind of life that feels more like you.⁣

Changing Direction - So behind on Insta but this was a very special afternoon spent with the inspirational lady that is @feelgoodwithlavina who hosted a ‘Feel Good Party’ @triplebondlondon rooftop and thank you so much for inviting me to be part of this ❤️

Being in a room full of such inspirational ladies who are doing so much to change things around women’s health it really did inspire me and got me thinking about my own journey and where to take it - whether down the style or wellness route as this is my real passion and at 48 I feel I am maybe just beginning x

Love these pics of us @michellegriffithrobinson and loved meeting the fab @cherryhealey and so many other ladies who are just all so awesome and at last met the beautiful @stylewithsamt and of course my girl @40fashionandlifestyle and it all ended in a dance and then on to @feelgoodwithlavina pilates class ❤️ thank you beautiful Lavina xx

Several predominantly Black and brown communities have reported issues at polling sites during the 2026 midterm elections. Residents in Fulton County, Georgia, received text messages saying their polling locations had changed, but the messages didn’t come from the county election office. There was also reportedly a heavy presence of DOJ monitors at the polls in Detroit.
