Some journeys feel a little like stepping into a storybook, and Denmark has plenty of chapters to get lost in. For Taapsee Pannu, Denmark holds a more personal place. Married to Danish badminton player Mathias Boe, the actor has spent the last few years splitting her time between Mumbai and Odense, making the country something of a second home. In Copenhagen, colourful harbour fronts, cycling lanes, elegant architecture, and lively neighbourhoods make for a city that balances its historic roots with a modern outlook. A little further afield, Odense, a city that Taapsee is proud to be an ambassador for, offers a charm all its own. Its quaint streets, pastel-hued houses, and rich history make it feel like a world of its own. Taapsee takes us through the picturesque streets and waterfronts of Copenhagen and the fairytale town of Odense, exploring a side of Denmark as rich in culture and history as it is in everyday magic. For over a century, this rarely seen work by Egon Schiele has remained without a frame, quietly existing in its original state. Now, I’d like to take my time finding the perfect frame for it.
