New York, you broke me in ways I never expected๐Ÿฅนโค๏ธ Where do I even beginโ€ฆ Yesterday was without a doubt one of the hardest things I have ever done. Physically, mentally and emotionally, this marathon challenged me in ways I never imagined possible. It wasnโ€™t the race I had dreamed of. I didnโ€™t get the time Iโ€™d hoped for, and there were so many moments where I genuinely didnโ€™t think I could carry on. I questioned myself more times than I can count, and giving up crossed my mind more than Iโ€™d like to admit. Iโ€™ve realised that sometimes the biggest wins arenโ€™t about the time on the clock, but about finding the strength to keep going when everything in you is telling you to stop especially my lil legs. I went into this marathon wanting to prove something to myself, but I came away having learnt more about myself than I ever expected. Iโ€™m still trying to process it all. The tears, the pain, the emotions and the overwhelming feeling of crossing that finish line knowing just how much it took to get there. New York, you werenโ€™t the marathon I expected, but youโ€™ll forever be one Iโ€™ll never forget. ๐Ÿ—ฝ 26.2 miles. I DID IT. ๐Ÿฅนโค๏ธ
