15-minute Black Bean Noodles! One more plant-based high-protein meal to add into your weekly rotation. Save the below ⬇️ We make this at least once a week, it’s such a wholesome meal, packed full of fibre and plant protein (28g protein, 17g fibre per portion) Ingredients (this recipe is also available on my web app with 200+ more, check it out at the link in bio or find out more on the second pinned post at the top of my page!) 🥰 1 x 400g tin organic black beans 1/2 tbsp white miso paste 4 spring onions, white and green parts finely chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 a fresh red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped 1 thumb sized piece of ginger, grated or minced 1.5 tbsp soy sauce or tamari Juice of one large lime 250g dried noodles (I used spelt ramen) To serve: Drizzle of runny tahini Green parts of the spring onion Sliced cucumber Roasted peanuts Chilli oil or Shichimi Method: In a small bullet blender, add the black beans, juices and all, and the miso (if you’re using jarred beans or beans that have already been salted - only use 1 tsp of miso) Pulse a few times to break down the beans and combine the miso, you DO NOT want a smooth paste, you’re looking for something chunky! Set aside. Cook the noodles according to the packet instructions. Once cooked, drain, rinse, and set aside. Drizzle over a little sesame or olive oil, to stop them from sticking or clumping together. In a small saucepan, heat a dash of sesame / any neutral or olive oil on a low-medium heat. Once shimmering, add the white parts of the spring onion and a small pinch of sea salt. Cook off for 3-4 minutes, stirring regularly. Add the garlic and chilli, fry for 2 further minutes, then add the ginger. Fry for 1-2 minutes more, then pour over the soy sauce / tamari and mix well. Add the blended miso black beans, stir everything together, then turn off the heat, squeeze over the juice of one lime, add the noodles and combine with tongs. Serve into bowls with a generous drizzle of runny tahini on top, green parts of the spring onion, roasted peanuts, sliced cucumber and chilli oil / Shichimi. #15minmeals #beans #easyhealthyrecipes #protein
On the next episode of leave black people alone. This brotha who looks like he’s a construction worker got approached by this white dude who’s probably a welder and this white dude kept yelling at him telling him to get back to work, putting his hands on him. The brotha asked him multiple times to please leave him alone but he wouldn’t do it! So this brotha mollywhopped him! Idk how many times he punched him but I loved every single one of them hits! #Blackpeople #Comedy #Jokes Get your tickets to see me live! GODFREYLIVE.COM
Honoring D’Angelo today with Voodoo, an absolute milestone recorded live to analog tape at Electric Lady Studios alongside Questlove, Roy Hargrove, and the Soulquarians. The album pioneered that iconic, laid-back "drunk" rhythm played behind the beat, giving it an unhurried organic feel and low-end richness. Rest in power to a true giant whose sound redefined neo-soul forever. What’s your favorite track off Voodoo? . . . #DAngelo #Voodoo #rnbmusic #VinylCommunity #SoulMusic

#majmobers: #TiTaylor finds herself on the receiving end of some unexpected comments from #CJSoCool and his daughter #Dayah in two separate videos! In the first clip, Ti jokes with CJ about having six deodorants, but CJ quickly turns it around, telling her they’re hers because she keeps ‘coming back’. 😂 In the second video, #Royalty is talking about attending the kids’ school parade and sharing how the day went. However, Dayah keeps chiming in with her own comments saying ‘i don’t like when those two people came’, talking about Ti and her daughter Favor.
