The way Americans dressed changed a lot during the pandemic. Everyone was working at home and discovered how much better it is if they’re wearing comfy clothes. Millions still work at home and others that have to go to the office still wear comfy clothes if they can.

In the Midwest outside the big cities, people like to dress so they can go to work, then coach their kid’s softball game, then work on building a deck or going for a hike in the woods. They’d rather be outside doing things than inside changing their clothes.
