I will not fit their mould
I think outside the box
colour outside the lines
dance to my own beat
I will not be swayed
into hating based on
prejudice or ignorance
I will fight for all bullied
and oppressed beings
my hippie heart and soul
may be battered and bruised but it is not broken
my mind is still my own
and I will always choose
love and peace
even if all around me choose hate and violence
