NYC 26.2 miles. My third marathon of 2026. And a finish line I’ll never forget. 🏅❤️ Yesterday, I crossed the finish line of the NYC Marathon feeling unbelievable gratitude. Living with Crohn’s disease has been one of the biggest challenges of my life. There have been some incredibly difficult days, years of uncertainty, treatments, setbacks, and moments when doing something like this seemed impossible. But yesterday, I proved something to myself. Not to anyone else, but to me. That despite everything my body has been through, that I could do this. It’s taken a long time to make it this far and im so proud 😊 It took everything I had, and I’m so grateful I got to experience it, New York City came alive and made it such an amazing day full of love sweat and plenty bittersweet tears 🥲❤️ To my incredible fiancée, thank you for standing beside me through the hardest moments, believing in me, and reminding me how far I’ve come. Your beautiful words before the race meant more than you’ll ever know. ❤️ A massive thank you to the @werunfoundation and the incredible team. Being part of something bigger than myself, raising money to support underprivileged youth communities and help create opportunities for the next generation, made this experience even more meaningful. 🙏 This journey has taught me to never take my health, my body, or the people around me for granted. Forever grateful. 💜🏅 #nycmarathon #WeRun #CrohnsDisease #RunningForACause #newyork

The Ḥanafī madhhab, founded upon the teachings and scholarly legacy of the great Imām Abū Ḥanīfah al-Nuʿmān رحمه الله, stands as one of the most distinguished and influential schools of Islamic jurisprudence. Its foundations were laid through the profound understanding of the Qurʾān and Sunnah, the intellectual excellence of its founder, and the remarkable scholarship of his students, particularly Imām Abū Yūsuf and Imām Muḥammad al-Shaybānī. Throughout Islamic history, the Ḥanafī school has enjoyed an extraordinary degree of influence, becoming the predominant school of jurisprudence across vast regions of the Muslim world. Its legacy is deeply intertwined with some of the greatest Islamic empires, including the ʿAbbāsid, Seljuk, Mughal, and Ottoman empires. The Ottoman Empire, in particular, adopted the Ḥanafī madhhab as its official school of law, while its principles shaped judicial institutions, legal administration, and religious life across centuries. From the scholarly circles of Iraq to the courts of Central Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and the heartlands of the Ottoman Empire, the Ḥanafī madhhab became a pillar of Islamic legal scholarship and civilization. Its enduring presence across generations and civilizations is a testament to the depth of its intellectual tradition, the excellence of its scholars, and the profound legacy of Imām Abū Ḥanīfah رحمه الله, whose name remains among the most revered in the history of Islam. #hanafi #islam #abuhanifa #madhab #fiqh
