Happy new year bhai

More posts

I kinda forgot to post on my actual birthday, but I’m 30 now. And as of November 1st, I’ve officially lived in LA for ten years. A third of my life has been spent in this place, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything (not even $100)

I’ve been so damn lucky over this last decade. So lucky to do the things I’ve done, to create the things I’ve been able to make, and to have the incredible friends I’ve gotten to have. Looking back through my phone for all these pics has reminded me that I’ve really done quite a lot over the last ten years :’) and I’ve gotten to do it all with people I love immensely. (this also reminds me to take more photos with said people I love)

Here’s to 30. Here’s to making more cool, weird shit. Here’s to all the people I love, who have for some reason stuck by me all this time. To quote every hometown rapper, “There’s big things coming.”

Thanks for 10 years, Los Angeles ❤️

Every beautiful journey has its own story, and every story holds countless memories. 💔🥺
Naat has never been just a voice; it has been a feeling, a connection, and a way of spreading love for our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. 🤍
If this is the end of Nawal Khan's journey as a Naat Khuwan, the memories, beautiful Kalam, and love you have shared will always remain in our hearts. 🥺❤️
I may leave the stage, but I will never leave your hearts. ❤️
