Morning Now November has arrived, there’ll be lots more cosy days like this around the fire. 🤍 I do love my log burner, especially when it’s lit and making the kitchen area feel so warm and cosy. There’s nothing quite like getting the fire going, settling in and enjoying those lovely slower days at home. Here’s to lots more cosy moments this month! Enjoy your Sunday xx #novemberdays #cosyathome #logburner #cottagehome #myhome cosy November days | cosy cottage home | log burner styling | wood burning stove | cosy kitchen | autumn at home | cottage interiors | warm and cosy home | November home inspiration | country cottage living
Time has a strange way of feeling slow when you’re living through it, yet incredibly fast when you look back. One moment you’re celebrating the beginning of a new year, and before you know it, another one is already approaching. As people get older, years can seem to pass even faster because daily routines become more familiar, making it harder to distinguish one period of life from another. Psychologists suggest that our perception of time is influenced by memory, attention, and how many new experiences we have. Childhood often feels longer because nearly everything is new, while adulthood can become repetitive as responsibilities and routines take over. Looking back at how quickly the 2020s have passed is a reminder that time keeps moving regardless of whether we’re ready for it. The fact that 2030 is now closer than 2020 is genuinely hard to process. 😭 #TimeFlies #Nostalgia #GrowingUp

Come and meet my mom! She always shows up in a lot of different ways. And I’m sure nobody sees her in the same ways that I see her. It took some time before I was able to see her in her many forms. After my mom died, I wasn’t ready to look for her. I wasn’t ready to say hi in a new way. I just wasn’t ready for a lot of things. And if it doesn’t feel like you’ve seen signs from your dead people, you’re not alone. Not everyone does! Also I’m a big believer that they all decide when the time is right to come back and say hi. All we can do is keep saying hi to them and keep looking for them. Everywhere. All the time. However feels right to you. They are out there. Somewhere. And you get to grieve them however you want to, even if that means talking to plants and animals and doing things society calls “weird.” That’s grief for you. And it can be a beautiful thing. I love you. Keep going. See you soon. • • • • • #griefandloss #lifeafterloss #griefandhealing #grievingprocess #griefcommunity
