Inflammation. A word I knew little to nothing about 3 years ago. A word that I have now learned, is a big contributor to many of the hard physical and mental symptoms that we all face!
Each person and body is different. For some, inflammation may be effecting their lungs and causing asthma, others it could be their stomach causing gut pain, or their skin causing rash’s, or your hormones causing imbalances, or maybe you are like me and inflammation in your body really effects your brain and nervous system causing anxiety(or depression or other mental struggles). I had multiple layers of inflammation going on throughout my body when this journey started. Each one of these layers causing really tough physical and mental symptoms for me.
Over the last few years I have dug deep and found answers to what were some key factors contributing to my symptoms of inflammation. Here are 4 of the “main” things(there really is so much more to this) that I was guided to that were causing inflammation in MY body. Each one of these being quite the journey in and of itself! I will break each one down more in future posts👍🏼
-My diet🍎 I put this at the top of the list because this one has played a HUGE role in my healing both mentally and physically in SO many ways. I learned that what I put into my body matters more than I ever realized! An anti-inflammatory diet made a really big difference for me.
-My gut microbe🦠 When your stomach is off, it affects EVERYTHING. Especially your brain. Getting rid of those 3 pesky parasites and multiple infections in my stomach was the first thing I tackled on this journey.
-My mentality🧠 I had parts of me that needed to be listened to. I didn’t realize experiences and beliefs from my life journey could subconsciously create thoughts, worries, fears and feelings that just needed to be heard, understood and loved. This was key to lowering stress and inflammation in my body and spirit!
-My breast implants🤗 Two years after starting this journey, after I had already healed so much of what was going on, my body made it clear that having my implants removed was an important step in my healing journey.
