The Throne – Total War
19 years. That’s how long Total War fans have been waiting for a new Medieval chapter in their favourite video game franchise.
We’re thrilled to share our latest piece for SEGA and Creative Assembly - ‘The Throne’, directed by Barney Cokeliss.
Half a million views in the first weekend and 6,000 YouTube comments, fans are loving it.
With no CGI, just five medieval monarchs and a single throne, Barney crafts a piece of pure, direct-to-camera intensity and bold character-led storytelling. “Human faces are the most captivating things we can look at,” he says. “So it never felt like a compromise to keep the film in one location and concentrate entirely on our rulers.”
A huge thank-you to Creative Assembly and to the entire team who brought this to life.
