What you are seeing here today is a series of paintings that I have done through the course of my first semester as a freshman at Webster University!
About the Paintings:
1. Love Sick: Inspired by the idea of loving a boy so much that you go mad. It breaks you knowing that the boy you are in love with isn't good for you. And you start to feel used because he only wants you when he needs something rather than just the sake of wanting to be in your arms. It's a constant battle of light and dark.
2. Instagram Post: When you see somebody post something awesome on social media what will you do? Are you cheering for the boy who is working harder than ever to chase his dreams no matter the pain it takes to get there? Or are you waiting for him to fail?
3. Love or my light?: A battle everyone goes through no matter the age or sexuality. It is the pain to want love knowing it might hurt. You spend years building yourself up and then you get lost when someone else holds you down. So you have to pick. Your morals and career goals? Or your aching heart and the urging desire to be held. Leaving the question why... Why not both?
