A complaint has surfaced from Rajarshi Dashrath Medical College in Darshan Nagar, Ayodhya, where a hospital staff member has been accused of pressuring a patient's family to purchase medicines and surgical supplies from outside before an operation.

According to reports, Vinod Kumar had been visiting the hospital for nearly a month to get his father's hernia surgery scheduled. The operation was fixed for November 3.

However, Vinod alleged that a hospital staff member asked him to bring medicines and surgical materials from an outside medical store. When he questioned the demand, the staff member allegedly responded rudely and suggested that the operation could be cancelled if he failed to bring the required items.

The family has reportedly submitted a complaint to the medical college principal, seeking action against the staff member.

The allegations have raised concerns over patient care and the alleged pressure on families to purchase medical supplies from outside. The hospital administration's response and the outcome of the complaint have not yet been independently confirmed.
