Good afternoon Muttonistas! I hope you’re all looking forward to your weekend.
I do like covering a wide range of beers, particularly stouts and porters, and while I was in Kilkenny in the summer , I popped back to one of my favourite bars, @brewery_corner
The stout of choice here is @oharasbeers , O’Hara’s stout, and it’s a stout that has made a good impression on me in places as far away from Ireland as Hong Kong.
Brewery Corner in Kilkenny, not being far from the O’Hara’s brewery in Co Carlow, is one of the best places to try a pint of O Hara’s , and this one was smooth, creamy , with its usual moderately enhanced coffee notes , An Absolute Creamer Muttonistas!

Beamish is the top dog but then I won’t lie O’haras has taken second for me especially after visiting Dublin and trying basically every main stout there is to try👏
