Oakland 6’9 Junior Isaac Garrett has been one of the impactful bigs in college basketball.
Garrett was a highly ranked Juco prospect who transferred to Oakland and has made a big impact averaging 15/7/3 while shooting 56% from the field.
At only 20 years old Garrett’s mix of passing, vertical athleticism, instincts on both ends, and efficiency at the rim is something not many players his age or size possess. Garrett has the ability to find his teammates on and off the ball using his scoring ability to making a quick decision at the rim. He’s also a versatile scorer who has great instincts as an off ball scorer and knows where to be at the right time and he’s also a skilled creator.
Garrett is one of 4 players in college basketball this season who has an AST% of 15, a BLK% of 3, and is shooting 60% at the rim on at least 50 makes. Joining Cam Boozer, Malik Reneau, and Nolan Minessale.
