Matthew Benavides

Blessed to announce that I’ll be continuing my academic and athletic career at the Division I level with Iona University. First and foremost, all glory to God for His guidance through every adversity along the way. Thank you to my parents and little brother for their constant sacrifice, support, and unconditional love—I am beyond grateful for everything they’ve done for me. I also want to thank all the coaches who have helped me reach this point. Lastly, a huge thank you to the Iona coaching staff for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to be part of their program and play the game I truly love at the next level.
