That time of year again. My favorite things in 2025.

The anime and manga column has been replaced with albums and music because I realize how little anime I watch and manga I read.

A bit about each thing here

Left Column:
1. SINNERS: Movie of the year. Oh how I wish I saw this in imax

2. SEVERANCE: Easily one of the best binges and favorite shows of all time. S3 will be generational.

3. THE BEAR: The most stress inducing show I’ve ever watched with absolutely amazing characters.

Middle Column
1. The House in Fata Morgana: My favorite story this year and one that will stay with me until I die.

2. Trails to Azure: PEAK. RAW. GOAT. FIRE. My favorite trails game and one of my favorite games of all time. Nothing has come close to the highs of this experience.

3. Warframe: Absolutely loved catching up to the story, the willingness and creativity to shake things up from what you would expect made it an experience to remember.

Right Column
1. A Matter of Time - Laufey: Amazing concert going experience, and a great album that makes me eager to see what’s next for her.

2. Dangerous Summer - Yeat: A consistent, fresh and unique sound that I really hope carries into his next full album. This might be my favorite Yeat project and some of his best work give it a listen if you haven’t.

3. Half Blood - slayr: Got completely one shotted by this artist and this album. Slayr is currently on an exponential upward trajectory and it’s not gonna stop any time soon. The production accompanied by producer waera paints a standout, polished and dynamic listening experience. One of my favorite aspects is how he never shys away from referencing his favorite shows, games and movies in his music.

2025 is a year that will be one to remember fondly with how much it gave me and to others.
