Levon — Story Imagined by Nicky2Shoes🎻✨🎹🎄

It’s been weeks of Christmas music here on the Piano Road… and as Christmas 2025 winds down, I wanted to share something a little different — but still rooted in the day.

“Levon” has always been one of my favorite Elton John & Bernie Taupin songs. It isn’t technically a Christmas song, but the story begins there (He was born a pauper to a pawn on a Christmas day), and I’ve always loved the poetry of that line… the layers of meaning… and of course, the moment he names his child Jesus — just because he likes the name.

So today I’m sharing my Nicky2Shoes video “imagining” of this beautiful, cinematic piece of songwriting — rich with Elton’s orchestral melodies and Bernie’s storytelling magic. I had a blast revisiting it, adding strings, and then bringing it to life visually with animated video.

Hope you enjoy taking this little journey with me. From the Piano Road to wherever you are — thank you for listening, sharing, and being part of this musical adventure. Happy Christmas, y’all 🎄🎶✨💜🎹☮️🙏🎶
