Love love love dancing with Christopher! Thank you for always creating a space when I’m informed and equal to communicate in our dances. You truly so amazing and can’t wait for more in 2026

Audio Description: Two dancers doing West Coast Swing to the song Oxygen by Emeli Sandé. Their movement is slow, intentional, and elastic, reflecting the emotional rise and fall of the music. The dancers use long stretches, soft turns, and controlled pauses to emphasize breath, connection, and musical nuance.
Throughout the dance, text appears on the screen. The text reads: “When you draw your friend in Jack and Jill.” It continues with: “Christopher and I are no strangers to dancing with each other.”
Additional text appears: “One thing I love about dancing with him is how much he shows the tone of the music in his body.”
As the dance continues, more text is shown: “Being deaf, my understanding of the music comes from what my leader does with the music.”
The final text reads: “You can see he clearly communicates to me the mood of the song we’re dancing to.”
The dancers maintain strong visual and physical connection, with the lead’s body language clearly guiding musical expression, allowing the follow to interpret and respond to the emotion and dynamics of the song through movement.
