BAND SPOTLIGHT
Out of Macedonia, Primitive Dread delivers a ruthless blend of hardcore and thrash metal, driven by raw aggression and no-nonsense intensity. Their debut EP, Rusty Chains of an Endless Transition (2022), came out swinging with fast, violent crossover energy rooted in hardcore and thrash tradition. With Merciless Indifference (2024), the band doubled down, pushing deeper into heavy hardcore territory - crushing riffs, stomping grooves, and a colder edge, featuring guest vocals from James of @harmsway13.
Both releases landed on 12” vinyl via Diehard Records, cementing Primitive Dread as a band built for the pit.
In 2024, Primitive Dread hit the road for their first European tour alongside Madball, Nasty, and Born From Pain, bringing their sound to new ground. Throughout 2025, they took stages at Venezia Hardcore, Skopje Fury, Vostanie, and Sofia Hardcore Xmass.
The band is currently in the studio, working on a new release planned to drop in 2026.
