At the end of last year, my family and I had to say goodbye to my grandfather. Poppy was a man of few words, but he always managed to bring laughter to any room he entered🤍

Two days before his funeral, my mom asked me to perform a dedication piece to honor Poppy. At first I couldn’t confidently say yes because my emotions were so high. I finally told myself to think of this piece as a final performance for Poppy.

I’m still not able to bring to words how I’m battling this loss, but I know that I dance because the the joy of the Lord is my strength and all I had to say was left at the altar with Poppy. I love and miss you🤍🕊️
