I appreciate everyone that sticks around here. This is a creative outlet for several of my hobbies and sometimes life gets in the way with much more serious things. Diabetes ain't no joke and that mfer hit me with some good hooks to the gut, then dropped me with a nasty straight right...but ya boy got his ass up off the canvas and didn't quit! I'm back in the saddle and ready to take on 2026 with absolute piss and vinegar running through my veins. Can't keep an old ornery codger down 😤

Type 1 for 39 years. 🙋🏻‍♀️ On a pump with a CGM, but grew up old school with multiple injections a day. Always happy to chat if you need a diabuddy to vent to who “gets it.” It can be a frustrating disease, for sure. Glad you’re feeling better! Much love to you!

2027: ‘God Who Gave Tinubu Victory in 2023 Will Do It Again’ –director general of APC Abdulaziz Yari The Director-General of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC-PCC), Abdulaziz Yari, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will secure re-election in the 2027 presidential election. Yari said the same God who gave Tinubu victory in the 2023 election would grant him another victory in 2027, citing the President’s trust in God and achievements as reasons for his optimism. He spoke with journalists in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, where he joined Tinubu and other Nigerians to perform Umrah, the lesser Hajj. Yari’s comments came shortly after Tinubu, during a media chat in Saudi Arabia on Friday, said he was relying on God for a second term in office. Praising the President for praying for Nigeria and its citizens, Yari described the gesture as a demonstration of true leadership. He said, “That’s what makes a leader. He first prayed for the country, prayed for every Nigerian, and noted that God selects leaders. “God did it in 2023, He will do it again. Tinubu depends on Allah to do it for him as He did in 2023,” Yari stated.

as someone who’s husband has been on the front lines of this very real battle this world is facing, I can say this: in a world that thinks human trafficking looks like the movie “Taken”, it’s anything but that. predators are sly. they know how to groom, what to say, and how to get their foot in the door. sometimes you’ll see the warning signs clear as day, other times you’d never know it unless you knew what to look for. as sick as it makes me to say, this Disney sting operation is unfortunately an example of just that. if this news story or post makes you uncomfortable, good — it should. don’t just be outraged by this headline and then do nothing with those emotions. learn the warning signs… report things that make your discernment go off, even if it ends up being nothing. support organizations on the front lines who are doing the work to expose this evil. because “awareness without action” is just another headline we’ll forget by next week. too many people have become numb to seeing new stories like this, and just keep scrolling.
