Make Town

Oh boy. Where the fuck do I even start…..

It’s time to say goodbye to London. And the collateral damage is that Make Town will close.

I feel immense guttural sadness (with tears in my eyeballs as I get this out quickly before the screen blurs) that I am choosing to leave.

It’s not you. It’s me. I need to go home x

I am giving up the best job I ever had and it bloody hurts. I created it because I needed it. I needed you.

I will be the one loosing a fucking terrific community. A loyal, joyful and utterly generous bunch of people who have enriched my life so fucking much. You put up with my bullshit and indulged me for so very long. You all deserve a knees up for that x

I am overwhelmed and honoured to have shared the studio with you these past 6.5 years x Make Town enabled me to find a family on the other side of the world. This may be the greatest thing I will achieve in my lifetime. I am proud of what we built together. So fucking proud.

Make Town will close its doors on the 1st April 2026.

I will be here until then. Day and night and weekends as usual. Please rinse me for everything you want from me until then.

I owe you that much at least. I owe you everything x
